I used the 1 love ball you get in that version btw... Not sure it's better than Premier but it seemed fitting then -_- Female hypno get the longer fluffbeard btw xD which I like way better.

Thankfully I got one of these on Sun (around the time you got this one too xD), where it's easy enough. Hated hunting this or Hypno on my older versions (Soul Silver and White 2).

Lol, 4 years later, I'm like, "it's gotta be adamant or timid" and ofc it's the first guess... Some mons' follow sprites are so nice and I guess this is one of them; shame that it's only for Soul Silver and Heart Gold, and that most shinies' stats and natures are usually mediocre/useless in these versions... And I'm not sure this one looks different enough in battle, but it's among my fav pokemon in general anyway. Grats & nice video, it helped me calm down after looking for a regular Paras during the wrong hours and seeing only 1 after 200 encounters... Imagine if I wanted it shiny xD

For a quick note, those who will be trying hunt shuckle in gsc, for fast resets check if shuckle has 31 or 33 hp then only check whether its shiny or not, if any other hps just SR over it. Nice shiny tho, love your reaction! Hope ill get mine soon!!

If you had a Pokemon with the lightning rod ability, which Electrike can have in your first slot it increases the chance of electric pokemon encounters so would have increased your chances. I randomly came across my shiny Electrike while EV training the Electrike I bred for in this very spot 😅

Call me crazy but I'm gonna say he cheated (as in modded the game to have better odds)

I just foubd a shiny rattata and i was in my first route AND YOU CANT GET POKEBALLS YET IF U JUST STARTED anddddd i cried
